Feeling very sad for our country today.  I've been listening to different folks spewing hatred left and right - - how does this help anything?  Was this country not founded on the idea of freedom of speech, ideas, religion.......

The truth is that Democrats no longer stand for what they started for, same for Republicans.  I don't consider myself a Democrat OR a Republican - nor do I consider myself Independent. I am first and foremost an AMERICAN.  I am for what is best for my country - none of which has been happening for years. I have never voted one party over another - I have always based my voting decisions based on what I know about the candidates.  I have for the most part tended to NOT vote for any incumbent except on the VERY rare occasion when I think the incumbent has been really worthwhile to keep in for another term.

I think what really needs to happen is for every voting American to vote OUT the incumbent - EVERY TIME.  We have allowed our government to run amuck!!

I watch the different senators and representatives, President and others posture and prose about the "other" side constantly - truthfully I've seen crabby, no-nap 5 years olds behave better than these "adults".

I wish I could just reach out there and shake them all - it's ridiculous!

Listening once again to a betrayal of us all - the "regular" citizens by our government.  President has exempted government from Obamacare....

So this WONDERFUL medical program isn't good enough for them - but it is for us......

Feeling very sad about the state of my country.......

I am really really really tired of the lies, lies, lies - cheating, cheating, cheating of the people that we idiot citizens keep electing.....they break laws, nothing ever happens; they tell lies that would land any other citizen in jail, nothing happens to them.  We ask for answers to questions - stall, stall, stall, avoid, avoid, avoid.

It's really old - it sickens me - we as a country are rotting and the rot starts at the top and is rapidly moving down through the ranks....

But it's not just our government - we have to take some responsibility for this as well - we've been complacent - we've just gone with the flow and let them become gigantic ego-maniacs with no ethics and no morals......

I'm disgusted by them all.....
